Steven Lau is the CEO of WorldQuant Foundry and a Managing Partner of WorldQuant Ventures, where he helps founders of emerging technology companies build scalable startups and provides early-stage investment capital. His work spans venture formation, capital strategy, and technology commercialization.
Lau has personally invested in several leading quantum computing companies, including IonQ, Rigetti, and SeeQC, giving him direct exposure to the capital formation and growth dynamics shaping the quantum ecosystem.
He brings extensive experience in financial markets, having previously served as a Managing Director at BMO Financial Group and currently serving as a Senior Financial Advisor at Novyra.
