M. Jeff Brittain is the Managing Director of Emerging Technologies Innovation and Workforce Development at the FedEx Institute of Technology at the University of Memphis, where he drives advancement in next-generation supply chain solutions and emerging technology adoption.
His work focuses on accelerating innovation and translational research within complex global logistics systems. Previously, Brittain served as Vice President and North America Head of Information Technology at Bayer and as Executive Director at Merck, where he led enterprise technology strategy and execution initiatives across highly regulated, operationally intensive industries. Brittain started his career in systems integration with the global top-tier firm, Accenture.
Brittain is committed to building what he describes as “the next Silicon Valley of supply chain,” emphasizing timely adoption of advanced technologies and the development of a skilled workforce to support them.
